The Michigan Alzheimer’s Disease Center was another project with Moeller Design for the University of Michigan. This project required a few unique elements. The client did not want a responsive design, but did want the design to adapt between 800px wide and 1024px wide displays. In addition, the home page required some interesting rollover features that needed to be triggered by the primary navigation.
For this project, we created six separate layouts the client can choose from when creating a new page, and implemented custom widget settings for each individual page. We also developed a new shortcode for this project that we’ve already used on two other sites. The new shortcode allows you to easily create an accordion within a page by pulling either child pages or a custom post type into the page. On the MADC website, the new shortcode is used for the lists of faculty/staff, affiliates, FAQ questions and the Memory Connection page.
The Memory Connection page also required a custom layout.
This project was developed in WordPress using the Ten-321 Framework parent theme, a handful of plugins.
